Bamboo Restaurant

The Chinese Restaurant of the Panda Base is located on the southeast shore of Swan Lake. Spanning approximately 900 square meters across two floors, it features seven private rooms of different sizes and seats over 200 guests. Rooted in bamboo-inspired design, every detail — from the decor and dishes to the tableware — reflects giant panda culture.

Rose Garden Western Restaurant

The restaurant is located on the east shore of Swan Lake. Covering over 200 square meters, it features 16 outdoor round tables and more than 20 indoor booths, accommodating over 200 guests. The restaurant enjoys a beautiful setting with flowers blooming yearround.

Panda Time Cafe

The cafe has an indoor area of more than 130 square meters and an outdoor area of over 370 square meters. It is fitted with 12 indoor booths and 23 outdoor round tables, seating over 130 guests in total. The indoor space is warm and cozy, while the outdoor area boasts lovely scenery. It specializes in freshly handground coffee, drinks and pastries.

Lakeside Restaurant

Nestled along the shore of Swan Lake at the Panda Base, Lakeside Restaurant is a wooden-structured restaurant. It offers light meals, snacks and drinks, making it an ideal spot for visitors to grab a quick bite while touring the Base. The venue provides 80 open-air seats and 20 indoor booths, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful atmosphere.

Signature Dishes & Drinks: The menu features wontons, dumplings, noodles, fried rice, burgers, fries, plus signature themed drinks like “Panda Coffee” and “Treasure Panda Milk Tea” — all designed for a quick, casual meal.

Li Shanshan Tea House

Nestled by Swan Lake at the Panda Base, Li Shanshan Tea House features adorable panda art installations, perfectly blending Chengdu’s tea culture with panda elements.

Core Highlight: The shop brews tea in Yingjing clay pots, a national intangible cultural heritage of Sichuan, to intensify the tea’s aroma. Committed to a made-to-order concept, every cup is freshly brewed and served immediately. Takeaway and delivery are generally not available, and a “5-minute best-taste window” is recommended to ensure the ultimate flavour.

Full Moon Giant Panda Pavilion Cultural & Creative Store

Situated next to the Full Moon Giant Panda Pavilion in the Panda Creek Valley area, this comprehensive store features panda-themed cultural & creative products, as well as specialty meals and drinks.

Panda Station

The Panda Station at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, newly opened in early 2026, is a one-stop rest and refreshment hub combining dining, relaxation, and cultural & creative shopping. It is located in the Panda Forest Area, adjacent to the Star Giant Panda Nursery House, Starry Sky Giant Panda Pavilion, and the Golden Monkey Star Forest Pavilion, within easy walking distance for visitors after viewing adorable giant pandas and golden monkeys. Equipped with comfortable tables and chairs, the station provides the perfect spot to rest and recharge.

Energy Boost: It serves authentic Chengdu snacks like Dandan noodles, panda-shaped desserts, and a wide range of hot drinks — a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.

Cultural & Creative Shopping: It sells a wide selection of panda-themed souvenirs, including plush toys, fridge magnets, and tea sets, making it an ideal place to pick up a gift.

Bamboo Tower Panda Bookstore

Situated on the first floor of Bamboo Tower, the bookstore spans approximately 800 square meters. Its collection of over 2,500 volumes focuses on panda culture, animal conservation, panda-themed periodicals, and foreign-language books. The cultural & creative section offers around 2,500 products, including fridge magnets, figurines, homeware, and accessories. An attached drink bar serves a selection of panda-themed beverages, creating a distinctive product line.

Sun Hills Souvenir Shop

Sun Hills Souvenir Shop is situated in the Panda Reception Hall, at the junction of the Base’s new and old zones, just a few minutes’ walk from the Moon Giant Panda Nursery House. It offers rest and dining services, restrooms, as well as light meals and specialty drinks.
