The Panda Base Launched Environmental-Themed Science Popularization Activities for World Environment Day

On June 5, 2025, the Panda Base, under the “Boundless Sports, Countless Wonders” theme of the World Games 2025 Chengdu (TWG 2025 Chengdu), simultaneously launched environmental science popularization activities titled “Be the Wild Ambassador for the Ten Guidelines on Civil Conducts (Ten Guidelines), and Share Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains with Giant Pandas” across its two parks. The activities encompassed science popularization exhibition and science popularization explanation, unlocking knowledge points of “Ten Guidelines”, knowledge challenges of “Ten Guidelines”, green commitment, legal education for environmental protection, public sharing and communication, distribution of environmental cultural & creative publicity materials and other links.

The objectives were to popularize “Ten Guidelines”, disseminate the knowledge on giant panda conservation and environmental protection, and encourage the public to adopt a simple, moderate, green, low-carbon, civilized, and healthy lifestyle, working together to build a modern society where humans coexist with nature in harmony.
