Let’s take a look at what kinds of wonderful and fun activities they have participated in.

Learn about pandas’ toys

First of all, nine fans followed the keeper to the Starry Sky Giant Panda Pavilion in the Star Forest Area, where they had a close view of pandas and learned about the behavioral training of pandas under the guidance of the keepers.

What is enrichment? What kinds of enrichment do we usually design for pandas? What kinds of enrichment do pandas enjoy in the Starry Sky Giant Panda Pavilion? During the tour, the keeper was guiding the fans to watch giant pandas while explaining enrichment to them in layperson’s terms.

In order to have a deeper understanding of enrichment for giant pandas, the fans started to have hands-on experience in enrichment making. Under the guidance of the staff, the fans worked in groups to make real enrichment toys for the pandas.

Giant Panda’s Growth

Learning about Giant Panda Mothers and Cubs at the Star Nursery House

In the afternoon, the keeper led the fans to the outdoor activity field of the Star Nursery House to watch how giant pandas bring up their cubs and explained to the fans how giant pandas raise their cubs. In the outdoor activity field, giant panda mothers and cubs were comfortably basking in the sunshine, presenting a lovely and peaceful scene.

After the field observation, the fans guided by the keeper came indoors and listened attentively to the keeper’s explanations of the characteristics of panda cubs after birth, as well as pandas’ growth process.

Face-to-face Lecture by the Professional

At the end of the activity, nine fans had a face-to-face exchange and learning with the professional, gaining an in-depth understanding of all the knowledge about giant panda breeding, after their questions on most-discussed issues in the field were answered.
