Caregivers Abe Nobuko

Inspired by her lifelong fascination with pandas from childhood, Ms. Abe taught herself Chinese and came to China to study zoology. After graduating in 2010, she gained experience working with pandas at Ueno Zoo in Tokyo, Japan. In 2017, she followed her passion for pandas and crossed the ocean to China, becoming a panda keeper at the Panda Base.
