Profile of Veterinary Hospital
Built in 2006, the Veterinary Hospital in Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is responsible for the daily healthcare, disease diagnosis, and treatment for giant pandas, red pandas, and other rare wild animals in the Base.
It is composed of an Imaging Room, Checkout Room, Treatment Room, Operating Room, Dissection Room, and Pharmacy. It will conduct full-life-cycle medical management to giant pandas and red pandas in the Base and conduct targeted medical healthcare centered on individual animals to improve animal welfare.
