Recently, the national youth football teams of England, Uruguay, Hungary, and China participated in the 2018 Panda Cup International Youth Football Championship held in Chengdu, totaling 145 participants, visited Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding successively in two batches.
Led by the staff of the Base, members of the national youth teams visited the villa for baby pandas, the sun delivery room, and the moon delivery room. Base staff introduced general construction information of the Base, and the living habits and living scenario of giant pandas to them in detail. All of the guests were entranced by the loveliness of giant pandas. When visiting the sun delivery room, team members also watched a video about giant pandas giving birth. They all felt that the newborn baby pandas with delicate postures were magical. They also admired the Base for its contributions to the scientific research, breeding, and protection of giant pandas, and highly praised the Base for its achievements.
